Core modules: microeconomics; macroeconomics; quantitative methods; pre'sessional mathematics refresher course; corporate finance; quantitative methods in finance; foundations of finance; research methods and dissertation; elective modules: fixed income securities and derivatives; the theory of financial crises; investment and portfolio management; decision theory and behaviour; financial econometrics; private equity; financial risk management; international financial markets.
Course Additional Entry
Upper 2nd class Honours degree (2.1) or overseas equivalent in non'economics focused and non'quantitative degrees. Applicants with a 2.2, or overseas equivalent, will be considered on an individual basis. English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.5 in writing and a minimum of 6.0 in all other sub'scores.
