Course Introduction

This Masters by Research is structured so as to provide you with a training in research skills. You will conduct independent research on a topic of your interest and complete a dissertation. You will be guided in your dissertation through a number of seminars and presentations and supported by expert advice from the teaching team and your own designated advisor. You will also complete a taught course (Making the Classical Past) in the first term which will prepare you for your dissertation by introducing a range of methodological and theoretical issues in the study of Classical Reception.

Course Additional Entry

A minimum of a 2.1 UK Honours degree or overseas equivalent. Relevant professional qualifications and relevant experience in an associated area. English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall with 7.0 in writing and a minimum of 5.5 in all other subscores.
