Course Introduction

Psychological Science is the use of scientific methods in in the study of mind and behaviour. In this programme, take your knowledge of research to the next level and explore cognition and cognitive neuroscience and how they can be applied to current issues such as mental health. You will advance your research skills and scientific knowledge in current topics such as neuroimaging, brain stimulation, memory, language and biopsychology. Develop your skillset in using current research equipment and analysis techniques in our well'equipped laboratories. Taught in small groups, you will present current research in seminars presentations and become a part of our supportive research community.

Course Additional Entry

You are usually expected to hold a good second'class honours degree (or above) from an approved university or college in the UK, or a recognised degree from abroad. Advice on recognition may be obtained from the Admissions Manager. Non'graduates with appropriate professional or other qualifications may be accepted on an individual basis by course conveners. The level of English required is ACADEMIC IELTS at 6.5 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band.
