Course Introduction

With London being an undisputed global hub for the Creative Industries (Theatre and Film in particular), the course will build on the potential for direct engagement with prospective employers and a hands'on approach based on learning by doing. London Met's provision in Theatre and Film enjoys world'class collaborations with internationally acclaimed organisations such as Complicite, Project Phakama, Heritage Arts, British Film Institute and British Film School. Our graduates have won awards in prestigious Film Festivals like Cannes, starred in BBC and CBS series, formed acclaimed theatre and film production companies across the globe, featured in long'running West End shows and worked successfully in all aspects of these industries. Studying on this course, you will build a versatile approach, responding to the increasingly flexible nature of the theatre and film industries. You will develop skills in performing, writing for stage and screen, directing, producing and critically engaging with the language of cinema and live performance.
