Course Introduction

This course will include a critical review of the anatomy of a fashion business and examining the process and actions associated with strategy development and implementation within new and developing fashion business. Students will also develop a sound understanding of how to create and market a fashion brand in today's global and digital focused world alongside global advancement strategies and will be given the option to further deepen their insight into fashion strategies by completing an internship or industry consultation project.

Anatomy of fashion business; establishing a fashion business strategy; global fashion branding and marketing communications; fashion growth strategies and performance optimisation; research project: design and methods; developing personal and professional competence; dissertation.

Course Additional Entry

A 2:2 Hons degree in any field; Diploma 2 years' relevant work experience. Mature candidates with extensive experience will be considered without formal qualifications. If candidates do not have formal entry qualifications, applications will be considered from candidates having worked in an SME (small and medium enterprise) for one year or more, or relative quantitative industry experience acquired over a minimum of three years. English Language: Candidates whose normal medium of education and work has not been English, will normally be required to present evidence of competence in English as demonstrated by a pass at IELTS level 6.0 (with no element less than 5.5).
