Course Introduction

This programme offers health and safety training for students, covering areas such as chemical environment; management of physical agents; safety and risk management.

Course Modules

Year 1: critical thinking (10 credits); environmental impact and management (20 credits); the chemical environment (20 credits); management of physical agents (20 credits); safety and risk management (20 credits); research methods (10 credits). Year 2: the reflective safety practitioner (20 credits); ergonomics and workplace psychology (20 credits); dissertation (40 credits).
