This course will prepare you for a career in digital media management, working with resources such as social media, blogs and content management systems, emphasis is given to existing and emerging theory transitioning into developing practical solutions within the digital and social media context. The course explores a wide range of Media Formats, Editing/Formatting techniques and tools within the context of current Digital Media market requirements. As a graduate of this course you'll be prepared to work within the area of digital media, in roles such as Digital Media Specialist, Development Editor, and Web Content Editor/Manager.
Modules include: Research methods; mobile applications and security; publishing architectures; strategic management and entrepreneurship; e'business applications; social media and digital publishing; human computer interaction; final project.

Although applicants normally require a first degree (usually at least a 2.2) or a Higher National Diploma in a relevant subject and a minimum of three years post'qualification experience in a relevant field to undertake postgraduate study here we recognise that many people have a wealth of valuable skills and knowledge they've developed at work or through training. If candidates have the potential to succeed in postgraduate or post'experience studies we'll consider their application on its individual merit. Applications may be considered where candidates demonstrate a combination of educational qualifications and work experience. All overseas candidates whose first language is not English should have attained a minimum of IELTS Level 6.5.
