University of West London

Course Introduction

This course embraces ideas associated with the repertory 'system' of training and acknowledges both a conservatoire style training and the world of academic study. This performance'based curriculum, located close to the heart of the West End, will provide a relevant and dynamic training at both a personal and ensemble level. The cohort will form a company of actor'musicians, writers and directors for each of a variety of performance opportunities, including working with new writing. Each aspect of performance will be chosen to identify specific areas of performance/technical skill that need to be developed to complete the professional training of the actor'singer.

Course Additional Entry

A 1st or 2nd Class degree in a related subject. This is also an ideal opportunity for those who have already entered the profession and have been working for 4'5 years within the industry and now need to support their work with academic study. All applicants will have to attend an audition.
