Course Introduction

The programme provides training in the key area of the application of state'of'the'art computer modelling and experimental characterisation techniques to determine the structure, properties and functionalities of materials and complex molecules. The programme is delivered through a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical classes and seminars.

Course Modules

Core modules: Simulation methods in materials chemistry; the scientific literature. Options include: Researcher professional development; mastering entrepreneurship.

Course Additional Entry

A minimum of an upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant discipline from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
