Course Introduction

This innovative City'based course is designed in conjunction with leading industrialists to provide insight and understanding of contemporary business themes including knowledge management, sustainability and leadership and will equip you with key business skills and the ability to fulfil your potential within multinational organisations. The course may be accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). You may also be exempted from some professional examinations.

Course Modules

Year 1 topics include: the global business environment; challenges for the 21st century manager; understanding and managing marketing information; principles and practice in marketing. Year 2 topics include: entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership; people management and performance in contemporary organisations; integrated marketing communications; digital marketing. Options include: brand management; business marketing and essential psychology for managers. Year 3 topics include: management investigation and recruitment report project; marketing planning and strategy; direct and digital marketing management; regulation and management in the global community. Options include: services marketing; customer relationship; management; managing corporate reputation; critical perspectives on management and leadership; managing crisis and risk.
