Course Introduction

This programme will help students to develop an in'depth understanding of current issues in child and adolescent psychology and provides a robust training in advanced statistics and research methods which will prepare them for a research career or for further postgraduate study. There is a practical and applied element, and a work placement, atendees will have the opportunity to conduct a substantial piece of research in child and adolescent psychology.

Course Modules

Modules include: Current issues in child and adolescent psychology; advanced research methods in psychology; advanced statistical methods; child and adolescent psychology in practice; applied psychology project.

Course Additional Entry

Applicants should hold a 1st degree in psychology or a relevant subject, normally at upper 2nd class Honours or above.
