The programme prepares students for the challenges of senior management within an international environment. Students gain a foundation in the key operational and functional areas of business and management; for example marketing, human resource management, organisational analysis, finance and accounts; students develop knowledge on strategic management and decision'making; they will gain support for their own personal development, through activities aimed at enhancing managerial skills and taking their career to the next level.
Modules include: strategy, change and leadership; international management and human resource management; strategic marketing management; managerial and personal development; management research methods; financial and performance management; dissertation. Optional modules include: consultancy practice; cross cultural management; entrepreneurship; managing ethics and professional issues; international capital markets and banking; managing projects; contemporary issues in project management; current research in accounting; contemporary issues in marketing; brands and brand management; contemporary issues in international human resource management.
Course Additional Entry
A minimum of 2 years' managerial or professional experience prior to starting the programme is required, together with a good degree from a recognised university or equivalent; mature candidates with substantial management experience but without the indicated academic qualifications may also be considered; some candidates may be asked to provide a score of 550 in the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).
