The CASS (formerly London College of Furniture) has a rich history of excellence in both supporting and driving forward London's furniture industry. Located in the cultural/creative Aldgate quarter of the city, this course asks you to delve into both traditional and digital workshop practice, designing, and making furniture for today and tomorrow.
1st year topics include: visual research and communication; design principles; critical and contextual studies 1; workshop practice. 2nd year topics include: creative industry practice; 3 dimensional design practice; critical and contextual studies 2; design details. 3rd year topics include: furniture major project realisation; project and design development; dissertation; exhibition practice.
