Course Introduction

This programme allows students to learn about commercial law and its application in the globalised world. The courses available cover a range of geographical and legal areas, including comparative law; economic approaches to law; law and globalisation; banking and finance; Islamic; Chinese and Middle Eastern law; labour law; copyright; trade law; fraud; multinational enterprises and the WTO.

Banking law; Chinese commercial law; commercial law; company law; comparative commercial law; intellectual property rights and development; international and comparative copyright law (copyright in the global village); international and comparative corporate law; international commercial and investment arbitration; multinational enterprises and the law; international labour law and equality rights; international trade law; law of international finance; law of Islamic finance; procedural principles and ethical standards; economic approaches to law; EU law in global context; foundations of comparative law; international economic law; international labour law; world trade organisation law; dissertation.
