Course Introduction

You will engage with a broad range of research methods relevant for classical studies. You will improve your knowledge of ancient languages and gain substantial research experience when preparing the required in'depth dissertation. This course offers the opportunity to study areas of the classical world in which the members of the Classics team at the University of Roehampton are renowned experts.

Course Additional Entry

Participants would normally be expected to have a 1st degree (or equivalent) in an arts and humanities field with a degree classification of a 2nd or 1st or to be able to demonstrate learning and academic achievement to an equivalent level, either through periods of formal or informal education and/or independent study. Mature applicants, international participants and those with non'traditional qualifications are encouraged to apply. Applicants whose 1st language is not English must demonstrate that their level of English is appropriate to study at postgraduate level and, if required, undergo an IELTS test at their own expense and achieve a score of 6.5 or greater.
