University of East London

Course Introduction

This combined programme provides both a strong theoretical grounding through a variety of criminology options, and also a comprehensive coverage of criminal law. This differs from similar programmes and should enhance the employability of our graduates. The programme is also available in part'time mode, with evening teaching available for those who work during the day. The course provides a space in which students can debate the controversial issues of the day in an informed, supportive and friendly fashion. Empowering students to make sense of their own lives, to develop (and possibly change) their opinions, to learn from others and understand the world in which we find ourselves in. There are no easy answers to the questions we face, but there is a fascinating journey to undertake in search of them.
