Course Introduction

Students on this course examine the theories that inform contemporary international business practice. The programme focuses on management and organisational activities in business environments and management of products and services in international markets.

International and cross'cultural marketing; international business management; international human resource management; international strategic human resource management (HRM); MA dissertation; marketing strategy for managers; quantitative analysis for managers.

Course Additional Entry

For the MA International Business Management we welcome applications from graduates with a good Honours degree, or equivalent qualification, in an appropriate subject. For students who do not meet the entry requirement for this course, we offer an alternative 15 month MA International Business Management degree. We also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications and individuals with a minimum of 3 years' work experience. Those without formal qualifications need to demonstrate relevant work experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level. International Entry Requirements: We accept the equivalent of the above from a recognised overseas qualification. English language requirements: Competence in English language and we normally require grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification. IELTS 6.5 (with minimum 6.0 in all 4 components) or TOEFL internet based 87 (with at least 21 in listening and writing, 22 in speaking and 23 in reading).
