Course Introduction

This LCF course is highly specialised for individuals who want to pursue a career in fashion marketing. You will explore the specific business environment relating to fashion consumers, fashion brands, the supply of fashion products and international fashion marketing, and learn how to manage marketing across a range of organisations, from value brands to luxury design'led labels. You will study marketing communications, looking at the many media possibilities now available for communicating with existing and potential customers. You will undertake collaborative projects with other students in the fashion business programme where you will work with a prestigious company. Further industrial engagement is through the visiting speaker programme, visits to industry, and the optional placement year, which enhances your employability through offering valuable experience and contacts within the industry. You will be based in High Holborn, adjacent to Lincoln's Inn Fields.

Course Modules

Year 1: Introduction to study in higher education (fashion marketing); principles of fashion marketing; introduction to cultural and historical studies; fashion branding; marketing collaborative project. Year 2: Cultural and historical studies; managing fashion marketing; researching consumer behaviour and psychology; fashion marketing without boundaries; fashion marketing development project. Final Year: Marketing futures and innovation; fashion marketing strategy; final major project.
