Course Introduction

This combined degree programme will appeal to those who are interested in studying in English, but would also like to learn more about a different discipline. Students can choose to study Theology, Philosophy or Computing as minor options. The degree will be 75 per cent English courses, and 25 per cent courses from minor option.

Course Modules

Modules may include: Introduction to the Old Testament ; introduction to the New Testament; Christian doctrine; philosophy of religion; church history: reformation and society c1450 ' c1600 ; foundations in biblical Hebrew; Romans in Greek; Buddhism (level 6); theology and atheism (level 5); Christian ethics (level 5); Islam (level 5); Johannine writings in Greek; liturgical studies; New Testament Greek ; religion and science (level 5); Christian'Jewish relations; advanced biblical Hebrew; the tasks of life: Pascal, Kafka, weil and Levinas; Christian Muslim relations (level 6).
