Course Introduction

This vocationally oriented course is designed to teach you how drugs affect the human body, mixing biology and chemistry to examine everything from rational drug design to the parameters that affect drug delivery. We combine practical lab work in our '30 million Science Centre with theoretical explorations, and you are taught by a number of research'active staff who have close links with industry. Added value: There are opportunities to take yearlong or shorter industrial work placements.
