Course Introduction

The foundation year is the first year of a four'year extended degree programme within the faculty. The course allows you to engage, explore and experiment within a diverse range of art and design subjects. You will build up a portfolio of skills and experience to continue on to the department's undergraduate degree course most suitable to your skills and aspirations in fine art, photography, textiles, fashion, graphic design, illustration, interior design, product design, furniture design and film.
