Course Introduction

This course is designed to give you the core laboratory, IT and performance skills to succeed in your chosen career. You'll be taught in our '30 million Science Centre with 280+ cutting'edge workstations, and gain practical experience on our haematology analyser, scanning spectrophotometer and clinical chemistry analyser, with options for on'the'job experience through a paid placement. The final year features a year'long research project in key chemistry'related areas. Optional placement modules are available to gain on'the'job experience.This course is also accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry and provides partial exemption from the academic requirements for Chartered Chemist status.
