Course Modules

Year 1 topics include: information systems; visual programming; computer hardware and software architectures; logic and problem solving. Year 2 topics include: project planning and project management; systems analysis, design and usability; databases and web'based information systems; an introduction to networks and operating systems; professional issues, ethics and computer law. Year 3 topics include: advanced database systems development; e'commerce and e'business; project. Options include: application development; network and cloud security; digital crime investigation; work related learning II; ethical hacking; long work placement; management support systems; extension of knowledge module. You will also have an option so that you can study further in an area of your interest, for example: information technology security; enterprise systems; application development.
