This course is an integrated and supported course that enables students to take a lead in the development of the teaching of their subject, critically engage with theories of learning and teaching in higher education and engage in research in learning and teaching in higher education. The HE Academy'accredited option within the course leads to the award of postgraduate certificate. This engages with the course's aims at the level of the subject, developing practitioners who are able to take a role in the development of teaching within their subject, and who are informed by theory, research and engagement with research related to their practice.
Modules include: Delivering teaching and facilitating learning; theoretical perspectives on learning and teaching in higher education; dissertation (MA only).
