Course Introduction

This course is focused on the application of strength and conditioning as one of the most effective tools to improve both health and performance. The evidence'based content, supported by an extensive practical programme, will provide students with the opportunity to obtain professional accreditations from the most respected organisations in the field: National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and United Kingdom Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA).

Course Modules

Modules include: Strength and conditioning research project; applied strength and conditioning; physiology and biomechanics of strength and conditioning; sports nutrition and supplements in strength and conditioning; research methods and professional practice in strength and conditioning; sports specific strength and conditioning; resistance training applied for health, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
