Course Introduction

The programme aims to teach students to plan and control the allocation of resources; to demonstrate ways of matching design and production to the needs of the market for built space; to broaden the abilities of graduates to think strategically and respond creatively to volatile economic conditions.

Course Modules

Modules include: Critical thinking; development economics and planning; principles of management; project management; risk management; research methods; managing within a sustainable environment; building rehabilitation; comparative urban and regional studies; construction economics; facilities management; real estate development and investment.

Course Additional Entry

A first degree in architecture, construction, surveying, engineering or planning. Plus corporate membership of an approved design, property or construction profession. Applicants with other first degrees are considered on an individual basis.
