The programme will cover a broad range of techniques for developing fundamental skills for medical applications of Electronic and Communications for medical systems. Further, it will provide students with a thorough understanding of the field, specifically with practical knowledge and expertise sufficient to evaluate, design and build medical engineering systems using a wide range of tools and techniques.
Modules: technical, research and professional skills; technology evaluation and commercialisation; advanced instrumentation and control; digital signal processing and real'time systems; applied biomedical sciences for engineers.
Course Additional Entry
Entrants to the programme will be graduates in science and engineering who have prior experience of computer programming, electronics and mathematics in their first degree and who wish to obtain specialised training in Biomedicine. The minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree in any engineering and science subject.
