Course Introduction

The programme is accredited by four distinct professional bodies and is designed to meet the increasing demand for innovative and far'sighted construction managers. It offers a choice of modules covering the wide variety of skills that modern construction professionals need.

Course Modules

Construction financial management; construction management; the management of health and safety and environmental risks; project management; strategic management in construction and property; sustainable design construction; construction economics and procurement; risk and value management; masters dissertation.

Course Additional Entry

A UK Honours degree 2:2 (or equivalent) in any discipline associated with the construction and property industry. Or, corporate membership of a construction of property'related professional body (eg RICS, RIAS, CIOB). Applicants without a formal degree level qualification or strong qualifications in unrelated disciplines maybe accepted on to the PgD programme subject to relevant industry experience. English Language: Candidates whose normal medium of education and work has not been English, will normally be required to present evidence of competence in English as demonstrated by a pass at IELTS level 6.0 (with no element less than 5.5).
