University of East London

Course Introduction

Within the university setting counselling and psychotherapy training is most commonly delivered at post'graduate levels. The BSc (Hons) Counselling programme however is built on the assertion that the body of counselling theory and research, and the set of counselling skills and techniques associated with it, can be successfully and appropriately taught at undergraduate level. The programme is deliberately tailored for students with no prior university education but with the aspiration and commitment to develop personally and professionally towards becoming a registered counsellor.
