Trainees spend 3 days a week on supervised clinical practice placements within King's Health Partners NHS Trusts in South London and Maudsley, King's College Hospital and Guys and St. Thomas'. 2 days a week are for teaching, study and research.

Good Honours degree (2.1 or above) in psychology, or different discipline where the candidate has achieved graduate basis for chartered membership (GBC) with the British psychological society via a conversion diploma; 1 year's clinical experience (paid or voluntary); postgraduate qualification; candidates whose 1st language is not English require IELTS score of 7.0 or a TOEFL PBT score of 600 or 100 for the iBT. Past English qualifications would also be considered adequate ' this must be Grade B or above in GCSE English, C or above at A level, 5 or above at higher level on the international baccalaureate or completion of the 1st degree in English.
