Course Introduction

This programme is designed for any student wishing to pursue an active career as both a professional musician and a teacher or educator; it aims to equip students with the necessary musical skills, insight and experience required by the contemporary profession in its widest sense, with a focus on the artist in educational settings, from instrumental and/or vocal teaching to workshop leading.

Course Additional Entry

Applicants require: a good 2.1 pass in a BMus (Hons); or an equivalent qualification such as a Performer's Diploma (LTCL, LRAM, LRSM, ARCM etc.); other qualifications and/or relevant prior experience may be considered; audition.
