Course Introduction

This programme will offer students a range of modules combining the study of international business with international law. It will be of interest to students with an interest in issues of international corporate governance. It will offer options from a wide range of fields of international law allowing students to develop their own specialisation.

Course Modules

Current issues and research in international law (core); international law and business (core); international corporate governance (core); dissertation (international business law) (core); students will also take 1 module from the options below: business and human rights (option); the regulation on transnational corporations (option); the regulation of financial markets (option); the law of the world trade organisation (option); law of international finance (option); economic integration in developing countries (option); european consumer law and policy (option); globalization (option); law and development (option); international human rights (option); law and policy in the middle east (option); contemporary islamic legal issues (option).

Course Additional Entry

Applicants require a degree in law, the social sciences or humanities or another appropriate discipline. Overall IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening (or recognised equivalent).
