Course Introduction

This course enables students to build a strong base of knowledge in all areas of general management and develop the leadership skills that set them apart throughout their career. Core courses are primarily taught in Hong Kong, with some sessions in London and New York. Students spend blocks of approximately 4 consecutive days per month immersed in studies and away from the distractions of the office. In the second part of the programme, elective courses give learners the opportunity to delve deeper into areas of particular interest. Students have access to the elective courses of London, Columbia and HKU Business Schools in a variety of formats, so students can customise the programme to their individual needs.

Course Modules

Modules include: executive leadership; corporate finance; leadership and organisational change; marketing strategy; financial accounting; managerial accounting; strategic management in Asia; global economic environment; managerial economics; managerial statistics; operations management; decision models; capital markets and investments; managerial negotiations.
