The programme provides you with a systematic understanding of the current international publishing industry, and a critical awareness of insights drawn from both scholarly research and professional practice.

Course Modules

Core modules: business and marketing in publishing; creating and managing intellectual property; digitisation and publishing; publishing history and culture; international publishing case studies. Optional modules: developing creative content; managing the publishing value chain; designing interactive media; digital cultures; libraries and publishing in an information society; major project.

Course Additional Entry

A 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent; evidence of a commitment to a career in publishing (such as experience within bookselling or publishing, voluntary or professional experience on a publication).
