Course Introduction

Research in the Department of Bioengineering aims to apply engineering methodology to the analysis and investigation of biological systems, and also to apply engineering principles to the design and construction of new synthetic biological systems; the research encompasses mathematical analysis of molecular and cellular events and biophysical modelling of cell processes, as well as bottom'up design and construction of new biological molecules and customised cells.

A 2.1 Honours degree and a Master's in a relevant subject area.
