Course Introduction

Research areas include: a new'life detector for space missions; minerals and the origin of life; the ExoMars life marker chip; life at earth's ancient methane seeps; early solar system and the origin of life; signatures of life on Mars; pinpointing where meteorites fall; meteorites and their contributions to atmospheres; planetary accretion and volatile depletion in the early solar system; platinum'group elements in the earth, moon, Mars, and meteorites; cometary micrometeorites.
