Course Introduction

This programme provides high level training in statistics with applications in the social sciences, finance and econometrics. Students learn to analyse and critically interpret data, build statistical models of real situations, and use statistical software packages. The programme provides excellent opportunities for employment and further study. Successful completion confers Graduate Statistician (GradStat) status from the Royal Statistical Society.

Course Additional Entry

A 2.1 Honours degree, or overseas equivalent, with a substantial amount of statistics and mathematics. English language requirement for non'native speakers (TOEFL/IELTS).
