Research areas include: biologically'inspired circuits and systems; biosensors for monitoring neurochemicals; computational neural modelling; in'vivo two'photon brain imaging; neural coding; neural prosthetics; neuromuscular control; rehabilitation devices and robotics; reverse'engineering the visual system; sensorimotor control and optic flow in flying insects.
