Course Introduction

This course provides you with theoretical knowledge and practical experience needed to register as an adult nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. This degree course is ideal if you are interested in a career in frontline or specialist nursing. Our academic team members come from diverse backgrounds specific to adult nursing including cancer, dementia care, ICU, A&E, neuro, acute medicine and surgery, community (district nurse, health visitor), sexual health and respiratory nursing. Our state'of'the'art simulation suites provide you with unrivalled opportunities to develop your skills in caring for adults through highly realistic simulations and role play. You will also have opportunities to learn with, and from, midwifery students and lecturers in simulations and share learning with the child, learning disability and mental health student nurses to enhance your skills in caring for clients from these fields.
