Course Introduction

This course is the study of modern communications technologies. The aim of this course is to deliver practitioners with knowledge and intellectual skills in the area of management and technology required in the communications industry. This course has been developed in consultation with industry and incorporates work'based learning.

Course Modules

Level 4: Mathematics for engineering; electrical theory; project management; sustainable engineering design; data communications and networks; communication principles; work'based learning. Level 5: Information and computer systems; mobile and satellite communications; IP'based communications; business environment; industry'based project; plus options: engineering logistics; analogue electronics.
