Course Introduction

This course will equip you with the behavioural theory, design practice and technology know'how that is necessary for a career as interaction designer, usability engineer, user researcher, or head of user experience. It focuses upon the analysis, design, prototyping and evaluation of multimedia, multi'modal, and multi'platform user interfaces that are easy to use and support a great user experience

Course Modules

Modules include: Digital interdisciplinary practice; digital content production processes; experience design 1; experience design 2; user factors; usability engineering. Options include: e'technologies; e'business; introduction to programming with java; agile development; craft project; live project; projects and risk management; requirements engineering and management.

Course Additional Entry

Applicants require a BA (Hons) degree in a field relevant to creative production, the humanities or business; or relevant work experience for at least 5 years in lieu of a degree; experience in digital media; portfolio; applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.5.
