Year 1: Cell biology; biological chemistry; human biology; medical microbiology. Year 2: Applied molecular biology (including bioinformatics); human pathophysiology and disease (including pharmacology, epidemiology, infectious disease, ethics and law in biomedical research, human disease and its treatment); cancer biology; immunology; statistics and computing in the life sciences; genetics or parasitology; medical humanities. Year 3: Cardiovascular science; endocrinology; gastroenterology and hepatology; global health; haematology; immunity and infection; neuroscience and mental health; pharmacology; reproductive and developmental sciences; respiratory science; surgery and anaesthesia.
