This course explores the effects of internal communication on the organisation and the impact of organisational factors on internal communication. Students look at the strategies and policies needed to underpin internal communication objectives and actions; learners also learn how to measure the effectiveness of internal communications.
Modules include: The workplace environment of the internal communication manager; developing strategies to facilitate organisational change; the corporate communication environment; evaluating internal communication; research methods and dissertation.
Course Additional Entry
A recognised postgraduate qualification in management and business; or a 1st degree or a professional qualification, together with significant experience in internal communication; or substantial relevant experience of internal communication management as well as other indicators of achievement (such as evidence of relevant training courses attended, examples of written reports, etc); for Masters' applicants a Commendation level in the diploma; applicants whose 1st language is not English require academic IELTS score of 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in reading, listening, speaking and writing).
