Course Introduction

This course will extend and develop key research and analytical skills; carry out a number of work'based assessments enabling them to add to their practical competencies and add value to their firm's operations; most modules are delivered through e'learning methods complemented by face'to'face lectures and workshops, normally in short, intensive blocks. There are 3 pathways: real estate; real estate (development); real estate (sustainable asset management and valuation).

Course Modules

Modules include: Corporate strategy and fundamentals in real estate; real estate law principles; real estate valuations; international project; european real estate investment practice. Optional modules: planning law and practice; sustainable facilities management and property management; investment appraisal and risk management; sustainable european built environment; development strategy and funding; statutory valuations; real estate asset management; sustainable property investment and valuation; finance, funding, and indirect real estate; international project.

Course Additional Entry

A BA (Hons) or BSc (Hons) degree in any discipline; or equivalent professional qualification; be in relevant employment or have substantial relevant practice experience; and have a minimum of 2 years' experience within the fields of property, finance, law or business interview; applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.5 overall.
