Course Introduction

This course integrates theoretical, experiential and clinical learning, preparing students to practise as a dance movement psychotherapist. Research cascades into teaching, emphasising the social, biological and psychological construction of the moving body and meaning making.

Course Additional Entry

Applicants normally required to hold an undergraduate degree at Honours level; applicants are expected to have appropriate clinical experience; it is expected that applicants have prior dance experience either having worked professionally in a dance/performance context or having practiced continuously for a minimum of 3 years prior to training, knowledge and experience of at least two dance techniques is required; applicants whose 1st language is not English need to provide evidence that they can achieve an IELTS score of 7, with no element below 6.5 at point of graduation.
