Course Introduction

Study the 3'year nutrition BSc programme at Waterloo Campus in the heart of London. The programme is accredited by the Association for Nutrition, allowing graduates to register as nutritionists, leading to careers in fields such as the food industry, national/international public health, journalism and research. There is the opportunity to go on a paid extramural placement within the food industry or research institution.

Course Modules

Year 1 core modules: Basic biochemistry for nutrition students; introduction to nutrition; introduction to food science and technology; cell biology and genetics; physiological systems for nutrition students; social and psychological studies. Year 2 core modules: Nutrition and health; eating habits; research methods for health sciences. Year 3 core modules: Applied nutrition; clinical nutrition; public nutrition research project; specialised topics in nutrition.
