Year 3: Psychology: cognitive and neuropsychology; clinical linguistics; disorders of communication in adult life; medical aspects: paediatrics; geriatrics; neurology; psychiatry; surgery; weekly clinical placement. Year 4: Core subjects: neurological disorders in adults; counselling; options in augmentative and alternative communication; speech therapy with the hearing impaired; cerebral palsy; computer studies; clinical phonetics and adult mental handicap; twice weekly clinical placement.
