This course is taught by expert staff and facilitates a partnership of learning between you, the practice environment and the University. We endeavour to recognise each student's individuality as well as their prior knowledge and experience. The curriculum is evidence'based, with a 50 percent practice element.
Level 5 (Semester 1): From student to midwife; midwifery and childbirth; evidence for midwifery practice. Level 6 (Semester 2): From student to midwife; midwifery and complex childbirth; autonomy in midwifery practice.
