Course Introduction

London College of Music's flagship music technology course, representing over two decades of development and experience. It has become the core on which our other music technology courses are based and has an enviable resource base, making us one of the largest audio complexes in Europe.

Course Modules

Year 1: Audio theory; introduction to video; introduction to sound; sound studio techniques 1; introduction to multimedia; music technology 1 (midi and synthesis). Year 2: Sound studio techniques 2; digital recording; music technology 2 (midi and sampling); portfolio recording; music in industry; creative sound. Year 3: Live sound and recording techniques; music and media in industry; experimental sound; digital broadcast media; audio post production; project (music technology).
