Course Introduction

This course gives undergraduate students skills in designing computer applications as well as using them; it enables them to express their own creativity and gives them the knowledge, confidence and ability to act as creative professionals in the computing, media and arts industries.

Course Modules

Mathematics for computing; introduction to java and object'oriented programming; introduction to computing and the internet; creative computing 1: image, sound and motion; database systems; graphical object'oriented and internet programming in java; software engineering, algorithm design and analysis; creative computing 2: interactive multimedia.
